Adelaide Workshop

Adelaide Students produce their own episode

Adelaide was overtaken by School Torque crews on the weekend prior to broadcast of the Adelaide Special The first of the SCHOOL TORQUE intensive workshops exploded onto the scene.

First up, on the Friday night, was an intensive workshop in video production conducted in the Mercury Cinema. It was sort of - the meaning of life condensed into 3 hours.

On the Saturday the students were split into 5 production crews. Accompanied by participating teachers, they students hit the streets of Adelaide to shoot their assignments. Segments and vox pops were the order of the day.

Sunday was a mopping up operation, literally - it poured!! We then set about shooting links for the special episode produced by the Adelaide crew.

Producers Comments;- Congrats to all the crew and the staff who took part in the workshop. I thought it was a great success!!!! The Adelaide School Torque Crew are a beautiful group of young people and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them.

A very special thanks to Tony Goodwyn and the Young Film Makers Crew, Adelaide. You people are all living legends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
